North West Neighbourhood House Network acknowledges the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation as the traditional custodians of the lands and waterways on which we operate. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging and all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people part of this community.

The Networks

There are 16 regional Neighbourhood House Networks in Victoria. They are managed by volunteer committees or advisory groups drawn from the local Neighbourhood House and Learning Centre representatives and their membership is composed of local neighbourhood houses and learning centres.

The Networks receive funding from the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing. Membership numbers, geographical size and the number of hours funded vary widely.

The Neighbourhood Houses Victoria (NHVic) is the peak body for the Neighbourhood House and Learning Centre sector in Victoria.

Networks collaborate with Member Neighbourhood Houses, State Government, Local Government and the NHVic.
